Church

We’re a church – that doesnt mean a building, it means a group of people. We meet together to encourage one another to follow Jesus. So what does ‘normal church’ look like around here?

The main thing that we do in a week is meet together on Sundays – that’s either Sunday mornings at 10.30am or Sunday evenings at 6.30pm. This is when we catch up with one another, share our news, hear truth from the Bible and encourage each other by singing and praying together. For more info about each of them, keep reading.

10.30am

There’s always something for kids to do, whether they stay in the main room with the adults or whether they go out to another room to have fun and learn from the Bible in a way that’s pitched at their level.

Arrive a bit before 10.30am and settle in, get yourself a brew and maybe even some cake. This is suitable for people of all ages, and feels busy and lively as a result.

6.30pm

This is a bit smaller than our morning service and is about an hour long. It’s primarily aimed at adults and teens; it would be ok to bring children, but they may be better served at our morning service. Afterwards some of us stick around, chat, maybe play a game together.

Whichever you choose

There are no secret handshakes, passwords or anything you have to do before you come along – everyone who wants to know more about Jesus is welcome. There are no special dates, we’re here every Sunday. We’ll never ask you to do anything really weird – we explain everything we’re doing, and people can join in if and when they feel ready to.

Coming on a Sunday is the best place to start. We have other things going on from week to week, and we’ll tell you all about those as they come up.

If you have any questions about who we are or what we do, please get in touch.
